In depth

Verdict

Hawkhill beat a useful sort in Cry Of Freedom at Huntingdon and sets the standard here, though he won't find it easy under a penalty on the testing ground. Swaledale Lad has only found one too good here and at Market Rasen over hurdles and warrants respect, while Stagecoach Jasper can probably improve on his debut over C&D last month though was well beaten. SAINTS AND SINNERS was quietly fancied on his racecourse debut in a bumper here last month and didn't let supporters down. Mick Easterby has wasted no time putting him over hurdles and he could be allowed to start at decent odds against more experienced rivals.
