tracked leaders, not fluent and reminder 6th, ridden along from after 8th, mistake 13th, no chance with winner before 4 out, went 2nd towards finish
disputed lead, led after 4th, headed 7th, led again 9th, clear after 13th, jumped left 2 out, very easily
made most until after 4th, led again 7th until 9th, no chance with winner before 4 out, lost 2nd towards finish
This looks a straight fight between two strong yards if they all jump round safely as Miss Tilly Oscar is outclassed on evidence to date. Rally didn't do too badly on a couple of ventures over fences last winter and does have a novice hurdle win to his name at this venue back in late 2013. He's a fair hurdler but RATHLIN ROSE is rated 8lb higher on official ratings over timber whilst looking very much a chaser in the making, having landed an Irish point-to-point before joining David Pipe. This has always looked to be his game and he's awarded the vote in the belief he's open to significant improvement over the larger obstacles.
