Verdict

The progressive GOOBINATOR won a maiden on the Flat last month before making a winning start over hurdles with a convincing victory over track and trip. There looks plenty more to come from him and Donald McCain’s charge could prove the one to beat despite a penalty. Both Boreas Duke and Abwab finished well behind the selection last time but Gordalan finished a creditable third at Sedgefield on his hurdling bow and Cawthorne Lad can figure judged on a recent debut second at Catterick. Hasankey was still beaten a long way when placed at Musselburgh and Lucou has failed to build on an earlier second when trained in France.
