There is not a huge amount of hurdling form to go on here so what can only be a tentative vote goes to Hello Nod, who gets the verdict over Pagan Starprincess and Chord. The last mentioned was just about the pick of these on the flat but would need to improve on the form of his debut spin over hurdles to take a hand in the finish. Furmigadelagiusta showed progressive form for Luca Cumani on the level and is one of the more interesting hurdling newcomers along with Tim Easterby's Rosbay. Pagan Starprincess won her race at Hexham in good fashion but the conditions were very testing that day so she may have been flattered by the margin of victory and preference is for Hello Nod. Julie Camacho's gelding stepped up on his flat form when making a winning debut over course and distance last month and he is taken to follow up that success here.
