The Nicky Richards-trained Gunadoir has been largely disappointing so far but showed signs of ability on his return and he has to be respected but more solid claims are held by Wee Bertie, who gets the verdict with Accepting rated the pick of the remainder. The selection had to work hard to win his race at Carlisle on his return, again ran well when narrowly beaten at Musselburgh last month and a reproduction of either effort should suffice in this moderate grade. Sarrococca has run with credit in both starts this term and has to be respected. That's Racing deserves to get his head in front having found one too good in each of his two starts this term but a bigger threat is likely to come from Sue Smith's Accepting who looks to be going the right way and has slipped to a fair mark. Wee Bertie has solid claims though and he is preferred.
