Boreas Duke defied his 40/1 SP with a fine debut at Hexham in June, making good headway from 2 out and staying on to be beaten less than a length. But My Strong Man weakened quickly from the last on his debut here while Bullion Boss failed to fire at Musselburgh after attracting good support. Peripherique was moderate on the Flat and well beaten on her hurdles bow at Fakenham but Artistic Language showed potential for Brian Meehan on the level and Richard Newland will get a tune out of him. GAOT has a fine pedigree for jumping and she had no problems with testing ground on her debut in a bumper in France in June when she won convincingly. Now with Harry Fry, she can make a successful UK debut. Goobinator has only had three runs on the level, easily beating two rivals in a Southwell maiden three weeks ago.
