A wide open novices hurdle here and as usual in these events the market will be all important but the pricipals look to be Tidal Bay, Forest Green and Atura Gatti and the nomination is given to Tidal Bay. The selection was a good second behind Pangbourne in the bumper at Aintree. That form looks rock solid; he is sure to have been well schooled for this his hurdling debut and, if he puts in a clear round, he will be hard to beat. Forest Green rates the main danger on his latest third behind Self Respect. He is sure to have learnt from the experiance but the suspicion is he will be seen to better effect over a longer trip in time. Atura Gatti is another worthy of respect on his best bumper form but he disappointed for no apparent reason last time out so can not be put forwasrd with any confidence. Chateau Rouge was second behind Lord Rosskit last time and he has definite place claims but he is more exposed than most and that form has since been let down. Of the remainder, Cash On Friday is from a yard in form and is worth a cautionary look in the market but Tidal Bay sets a fair standard on bumper form and he will be hard to beat.
