In a very open bumper to end proceedings DIKLERS OSCAR has the verdict just ahead of Pokanoket and Miss Keck. The pick started life with a couple of runners up spots before landing a Haydock contest last time. She seems to have learnt a lot from her early attempts and settled really well to score in that race. More of the same can be expected for this half-sister of a successful Irish pointer. Pokanoket will have taken much from her first outing on a racecourse where she stayed on well to claim third place of 16 on similar going. The winner of that contest has stepped up to run well in better company since and with the expected improvement Pokanoket holds a decent chance. Alan Swinbank's Miss Keck also looked to have ability on her debut last time. She did show her lack of racing knowledge when asked to challenge but still wasn't far away. Another on the upward learning curve she should be close. Crow Spinney has some good point-to-point form and landed a race under rules at the first time of asking in her penultimate effort but we'll side with the more experienced Diklers Oscar.
