Nonrunner

In depth

Verdict

Plenty of runners to choose from here making selection very difficult but we side with PUGNACITY who left behind her previous form to win a selling hurdle over 2m4f at Sedgefield last month, beating Bonny Bright Eyes and we expect a similar result here today. The selection is up 12lbs for that last victory and is 10lbs worse off than that rival but a reproduction of that form might be enough to see her follow up. Bonny Bright Eyes will have come on for that last run despite losing out to the selection. The filly has been progressing recently and should be right on the tail of the selection. Freedom Flying Was third at Hexham last time. Stamina proved a problem there though and a finish in the minors looks likely in a race that may be dominated by two horses. Bernshaw is open to a little improvement and could be involved off his mark of 76 on this his handicap debut. A market check is advised for the rest as recent good form is in short supply but for us the selection goes to Pugnacity.
