Verdict

Dan Skelton enjoys a fine record here and ETALON (NAP) may add to the tally. He's shaped well on both starts, was beaten by a useful sort in Strong Leader last time and should go close. Miss Lamb is a possible stumbling block despite being far from easy to rate accurately. A talented bumper performer, she's only had five starts since January 2020, just one career start over hurdles and has been off for 355 days. She clearly has ability - but major issues too - and the market may prove the best guide to her chance on this belated reappearance. The market may also help to point the way with the newcomer, Ranging Bear, for Olly Murphy and the Walk In The Park gelding is certainly one to keep an eye on. Boomslang has an each-way shout but may need handicaps to bring out the best in him.
