No obvious standout but HIGHLAND FROLIC did improve noticeably from his first to second outing and a seven-length third to Samuel Spade at Kempton was a decent effort. That was a first start since wind surgery too and the ex-Gosden inmate can hopefully progress again and take advantage of the 7lb received from the trio of penalised contenders, of whom Casi Crudo appeals as the likeliest threat. Alex Hales' charge is the most experienced on show here and produced a fair enough effort last time when fourth in the Chatteris Fen at Huntingdon. Ring Of Beara scored on the Flat for Richard Hughes and wasn't beaten at all far last time so commands respect along with the debutant Shared, now with Harry Derham after showing some maiden ability on the level for the Charlton yard.
