In depth

Verdict

Rowdy Rocher scored at this meeting a year ago though over a much shorter trip. He only got as far as the first on his comeback at Musselburgh on New Year's Day and may just need this. Take The Mick is 9lb higher than his last winning mark but continues to run well and might have won at Ludlow last time but for a bad mistake two out. Leanna Ban completed a double in the spring but on much quicker ground than he'll face here but Armedanddangerous showed his liking for heavy conditions when scoring at Uttoxeter though a 9lb rise for the eleven-year-old looks harsh. LONGUEVILLE FLIER (NAP) came here in October and ran well to finish second then went one better the following month. He's the youngest in the line-up and the most scope so is taken to complete a double on the track. It's a very long time since the once useful Tutchec showed any form but he's competed at a different level to these and is worth watching in the market.
