        Verdict

        High Draw showed the benefit of a promising debut on heavy ground at Nottingham with a very narrow defeat back there last month. He should have no problems handling this quicker ground and will prove difficult to beat. TORCH has taken his time to reach his peak but looked ready to win soon with a fine run in a Newmarket maiden 10 days ago when he was always in the firing line and can go one better. Sir George Somers has had two runs over 1m2f at Windsor where he's looked a bit one-paced but Excellent World was going on at the finish over 7f here last week so the extra furlong should suit. Hallux is by Sakhee out of a Listed winner over this trip and is one to keep an eye on.
