Verdict

French import GRIS DE PRON started off with a seven-length defeat by Bapaume at Fontainbleau in April and the winner has subsequently won a Grade 2 for Willie Mullins. That form would obviously be good enough for this and though Oliver Greenall's recruit has been well beaten in his two later starts he's taken to make a successful debut for the yard. Mr Globetrotter, a lightly-raced maiden on the Flat, ran moderately on his hurdling debut here but should have gained from the experience while Regal Gait, a winner at Chelmsford in October, showed potential on his hurdling debut at Market Rasen and was racing in much better class on his next start at Newbury. Getback In Paris, who is by Galileo, made a successful debut on heavy ground in the Provinces and though like Most Celebrated, a winner for Godolphin at Windsor in June, doesn't have a jumping pedigree, he looks the type to do well over timber.
