In depth

Verdict

Tiltili can make the most of the weight that she receives from Categorical, with Special Order and Midnight Diamond best of the remainder. Tiltili just could not contain Carrietau when they met at Sedgefield a fortnight ago, but Pat Haslam's filly stuck to her task well when headed, and looks all set to make amends. She gets 7lb from Categorical here, and that could be enough to stop the latter from opening his account. Keith Reveley's charge stayed on well when second to the hot favourite European Dream at Newcastle, casting aside any doubts that he would stay, but he is there to be taken on. Special Order slipped up with just over a furlong to go on his bumper debut at Carlisle at the end of last month. It is difficult to say how close he would have gone, but in any case he is best watched on this introduction to hurdles. Midnight Diamond was well held by Pocket Two at Uttoxeter, and all-weather performers Missouri and Stolen Summer cannot be backed with confidence on this switch of codes, so we return to Tiltili as the answer.
