FATHER BERTIE is the most exposed but looks to have a good chance of opening his account. It was soft going when he was runner-up at Ripon last time but he was placed on faster ground on a couple of occasions earlier. He looks to have most to fear from Brasted in this with the latter showing some improvement when fourth at Haydock last time. With the remainder showing nothing so far, it would be no surprise if the newcomer and half-brother to two winners, Royal Acclaim, got involved.
