Wotchalike is the pick in our opener with Scuzme and Tirol Livit the dangers. Jim Best has made a habit of making good other's castoffs and Wotchalike is no exception. The horse admittedly needed Tony McCoy's powers of persuasion to score at Uttoxeter and while the slight drop in trip is noted, the fact that they didn¿t jump all the hurdles on Saturday suggests that he has enough flat speed to cope. Scuzme represents a yard that has enjoyed a couple of nice placings of late. Exposed at plating grade, he is much better than that recent Hexham race suggests. Locally trained, Tirol Livit needs little in the way of introduction. A winner at this time of the year last season, he has failed to build upon that sole success. Francescas Boy was well turned over in Novice hurdles. Whistle Blowing is a plating chaser. Isaac Newton was bred to be useful on the flat but having demonstrated some semblance of ability in bumpers, he has struggled over the hurdles. Kalatime shouldn't be good enough. Wotchalike gets the nod.
