Cowslip has won twice around here though a very long time ago. She won a minor handicap at Bangor in December but was well beaten when stepping into this grade at Haydock. ALONG CAME THEO gave notice of an imminent victory when a close second at Hexham and did everything but win over this track and trip on Boxing Day. He's going the right way and, though 5lb higher, looks another for Brian Hughes. Star Of Namibia has a career strike-rate of 0-31 and though he has every chance at the weights he's hardly one to have faith in while the maiden Northern Girl hasn't shown enough to suggest she's up to this.
