Verdict

ROSMUC RELAY won a point in Ireland in December and was making his debut for Kim Bailey when scoring very easily at Leicester last month, though his path was cleared when a rival fell at the last. He needs a thorough test of stamina and though this could be on the short side the conditions will play to his strengths and he can defy a penalty. Teescomponents Lad had been threatening to win when tackling shorter trips and stepped up to this distance to dead-heat at Catterick. It will be a surprise if he's not involved again while Richard Johnson's presence on Well Smitten suggests he has more to offer. The four-year-old Hazy Manor was a 66/1 chance when runner-up over the minimum at Catterick where he wasn't stopping at the finish.
