Verdict

KAPGARRY came up against a useful early-season novice when beaten 12 lengths at Perth and he’ll know more today. Nigel Twiston-Davies’ five-year-old may have too much speed for Sue Smith’s staying chaser I Just Know, having a first outing since falling at Becher’s when leading the Grand National at Aintree in April. Leodis will pick up some prize money for completing but looks booked for third.
