Subsequent Cheltenham festival winners Labaik and Samcro have won this for Gordon Elliott in the past two years and the stable has two entries here. BATTS ROCK joined the yard from Michael Bell and won his first two starts over 1m4f on fast ground before finishing mid-division in a premier handicap at Leopardstown. He looks a nice recruit to hurdles and can see off Empire Burleque, who dead-heated in a point-to-point then landed a Fairyhouse bumper but had a year off before tailed off in a Grade 2 bumper at Leopardstown in February. Pushaq was well beaten in a maiden hurdle here in May but has made great strides on the Flat, winning easily at Gowran last month. Xinbama was beaten a long way in two starts over timber earlier in the summer but is another with winning form last time having scored over 1m6f at Bath. She'stherightone was narrowly beaten into second in a Cork bumper but never got into contention when third at Killarney next time. Milliner, who cost E70,000, is an interesting newcomer for Henry De Bromhead.
