Verdict

The Player Queen was disappointing at Kelso after winning an Ayr maiden in October but Autonomous Cloud hinted at more to come when third at Leicester. VIVA LAVILLA sets the standard, however, having run respectably in a couple of Grade 2 contests after winning at Lingfield in November. Rafferty's Return was only second over course and distance having scored earlier at Newcastle but Abuffalosoldier beat a subsequent winner at Wincanton on his hurdles bow and is much respected. Burrow Seven has the build of a jumper but may need today’s experience.
