Gallant Approach gets the call here ahead of Nadover. Considered to be an out-and-out staying prospect, Gallant Approach has looked good in winning his last two races, most recently over three miles at Newbury. The drop in trip today is probably not ideal but he still looks to be the one to beat. Nadover looks the danger based on his defeat of Von Origny at Bangor last time. That was a fair effort, but it will be disappointing if Gallant Approach cannot take his measure. Triple-winning hurdler Rowley Hill has yet to look as proficient over fences, and, barring mishaps, Delaware Trail cannot be seriously considered. All of which returns us to the selection, which is Gallant Approach.
