Verdict

TOMMY'S OSCAR won four times last winter and ended the campaign with a close third in a Grade 2 handicap at Ayr. He looks the one to beat if ready after a break. Takeit Easy went up 7lb for an easy victory at Ludlow in May and couldn't quite cope at Stratford the following month and though Alqamar has completed a four-timer he only just got home at Cartmel and is 3lb higher. Four-times winner Another Theatre is just 2lb higher than a comfortable victory at Sedgefield in March while the consistent Constancio is back on the same mark as his last victory. Scorched Earth has run poorly on the Flat this summer.
