Verdict
RESIDENCE AND SPA has already had six starts over hurdles but has gone close on a couple of occasions and looks poised to take advantage of today's drop in grade. The danger may be Prince Freddie, though he was seven lengths behind the selection over C&D last month and has been pulled up over further at Carlisle since. Red Mercury won on his debut at Market Rasen in June but was well beaten in a Ludlow seller last time and has changed stables since.
