MAGNIFIQUE ETOILE followed up his runaway win in a bumper with victory at Stratford on his hurdling debut last month. He wasn't the most fluent at his hurdles, but his speed between the obstacles got him out of trouble and he's expected to go in again here. Go Get Em Kid and Mistoffelees both posted better efforts on their second starts over timber and further progress is expected from them, while the Coolmore-owned Silver Stirrup makes his hurdling bow and may improve on his modest bumper form.
