        Verdict

        IFITS A FIDDLE had both Pastoral and Conas Ata Tu behind when going very close on her debut second at Towcester to Reach The Beach. The latter has gone in again under a penalty so the form looks solid and Richard Philips' filly gets the nod. Mistral Reine shaped well on her introduction, also at Towcester, and has a shout along with Seedcracker, third in a Polytrack bumper at Lingfield in November. Weekend Lady and Innocent Girl are newcomers to note though Gulfport, a half-sister to a hurdles winner, could prove best of the debutantes.
