In depth

Verdict

The greater experience of Brook No Argument earns her the vote but hurdling debutantes Red Letter Girl and Laureldean Melody are of interest as are Its Teescomponents and Rosie All Over. The last named flopped at Towcester last time but is back in trip and better than that; Its Teescomponents has 9 lengths to find with the selection on their running at Newcastle and has yet to race on ground worse than good to soft. Red Letter Girl and Laureldean Melody have both shown promise but their ability to hurdle can only be taken on trust at this stage and John Quinn's mare has done more than enough to suggest a race of this nature is well within her scope. She has made the frame on both starts over hurdles in stronger contests than this and can make the most of the return to racing against her own sex; Brook No Argument is the call.
