Supreme Builder has always been held in high regard and may be able to step up on the form of his hurdling debut, Companero and Bretton Woods are the likely dangers. He gave an indication of his class on debut in the Grade 1 bumper at Punchestown in 2006 and has been given plenty of time by his handler. It could be argued that he was a shade disappointing on his hurdling bow but this longer trip should see him in a better light and that experience is unlikely to have been lost on him. Companero was an impressive winner of all three of his starts in point-to-points in Ireland in 2006; he has presumably had his problems but is one to be interested in if the market gives out the right vibes. Like many from the yard, Bretton Woods won't come into his own until jumping a fence but he has shown ability on his two starts to date. He appeared to handle testing conditions on his debut before finishing around fourteen lengths in front of the selection on his hurdling bow at Carlisle. He, too, will be suited by this longer trip and must be feared but Supreme Builder is taken to reverse that form and land the spoils.
