In depth

Verdict

Alfie Corbitt hasn’t shown much so far under Rules but the step up to 3m should suit. Pray For A Rainbow was second to the prolific Coppers Square at Huntingdon last month and Phoebus Lescribaa is worth a market check on his first run since last summer. Ask Paddy has run twice here over hurdles but his last two runs, 15 months apart, have been over fences. Border Victor was successful over course and distance last month but the runner-up was well beaten at Exeter on Tuesday. WIG WAM WIGGLE is only a token selection as he is no form on going this quick but he arrives in decent form and Billy Garrity is good value for his claim.
