    Verdict

Thank The Lord posted a good effort at Bath over this trip recently and a reproduction of that run on conditions which he handles well sees him in the forefront of consideration. He remains on a workable mark and is usually at his best when ridden prominently. Autumn Flight can usually be relied upon to run his race, so it's probably best to give him the benefit of the doubt after a poor run last time. He's another who is best when up with the pace. Yaahobby has been there or thereabouts on all three starts this term and should remain competitive off his current mark, but JENEVER gets the vote. He's enjoyed a good 2023 to date, remains in fine form after a runner-up effort in a large-field spring handicap at Thirsk last month and Ben Sanderson claims a useful 3lb.
