        Verdict

        MITCHUM came here on Sunday and defied a long absence to make all for a comfortable success. He has a 6lb penalty to carry but this looks no tougher. Little Miss Lola ran in the second division of the same race and had to come wide on the first bend, losing ground in the process. However, she was still four lengths behind runner-up Celerity and seems unlikely to reverse the form. Archie Stevens spends most of his life on the all-weather these days where he's won seven times. He's 1-26 on Turf and prefers faster ground. Robbian hasn't won for a long time but would handle easier conditions better than most.
