      Verdict

Iolani has won a bumper and scored over 1m6f on heavy going at Galway so this is likely to prove too short. ALWAYSANDFOREVER started out with a narrow defeat by Coronet at Leicester in September 2016. The winner went on to score in Listed and Group 2 company and is now rated 113 but Luca Cumani's filly only had one subsequent run when beating a lone rival easily at Brighton a year later. We'll see if she's retained her ability here as she has a worthy opponent in Saroog, who looks certain to win soon after three good runs including on soft ground. Sketching has her first start on Turf but may prove best of the remainder.
