In depth

Verdict

Rathmacknee has won a point but has a staying pedigree. DR SEB was only third when favourite at Bangor but did finish ahead of a couple of subsequent winners so gets a second chance here. Don Hollow has had a wind operation ahead of his debut but did cost €50,000 as a three-year-old and will be expected to repay some of that outlay in time. Noble Affair, the only mare in this contest, is a full sister to winning hurdler and chaser Uptown Harry but may need more time.
