Verdict

Ravati doesn't look good enough and Palypso De Creek has failed to complete his last four starts. A winner here in 2009, Always Bold is struggling to find any sort of form these days while Chester Lad was beaten a long way in fourth here last time and has something to find with the runner-up on that occasion, DOUBLE EXPRESSO. The latter showed his best form since winning at Sedgefield last March when chasing home Lackamon, who has won again since, over C&D three weeks ago and this contest looks his for the taking racing off the same mark.
