Middlethorpe,Undeniable and Just The Jobe are all in good heart, however we will take a chance on Double Timer. Jonjo O'Neill's nine-year-old was was beaten in a novice chase last November but his past hurdles form was exemplary and the fact that the stable have taken this route suggests he still has plenty of ability. Middlethorpe is a top handicapper on his day and ran well in defeat at Catterick in January when losing out by just a length to Baby Gee, he looks weighted to go close again. Undeniable has similar claims having found Hidden Bounty just too good at Newcastle last time. Just The Jobe never got going here last time but had previously put up a brave performance at Doncaster when chasing home Count Tony. All in all a very competitive affair that may go to Double Timer.
