Verdict

John Quinn sent out Cockney Sparrow to land this 12 months ago and AURORE D'ESTRUVAL should take the prize back to Settrington. She won over course and distance on her UK debut in February and her fifth to Guitar Pete in a Grade 1 at Aintree in April is the best form on offer today. Emily Gray has travelled over from Ireland with decent claims as she was second in a Listed race at Cheltenham in the spring on her only previous visit when Cloudante was well beaten. Bonne Fee was beaten at Bangor last month but had won her previous three, though all over further. Last Supper was an 80/1 chance when beating the odds-on Ballybolley at Perth but did it easily and the runner-up has run well since in a better race. Gold Chain looks to be well out of her depth.
