In depth

Verdict

A winner at Hexham in September, BROTHER SCOTT has run well in both subsequent starts at the same track. Well clear of the rest when runner-up to Present Lodger last time, Sue Smith's charge may be up to landing this on his return. Ballyvaughn was racing in second when the leader fell at the last at Stratford leaving him clear. He's been raised 4lb for that but Lord Of Drums should have come on for a recent comeback run at Ayr having won at Perth in 2014 and Crown And Glory was returning from over a year's absence when well beaten at Sedgefield last week.
