In depth

Verdict

Emmas Joy was out of her depth in a Grade 2 at Sandown earlier this month and has a better chance in this, though will not find is it easy to defy a penalty. Cill Anna kept on well at Wincanton, despite racing freely, and will know more today while Misaps was an eye-catcher in a bumper here recently and Stuart Edmunds has wasted no time putting her over hurdles. GRANNY’S SECRET (NAP) won a point earlier in the year and was third in a bumper at Aintree on her debut under Rules. She could be a nice prospect and this trip will suit the Stowaway mare. Points and bumper winner Rose Of Aghaboe was still beaten 27 lengths when second at Lingfield but is a likely improver.
