Captain Cj has come up against some smart winners in his three starts over fences at Fairyhouse, staying on over 2m5f in each. Discordantly has also raced over short of his best in his two starts and better is expected though he was a long way behind EARLY DOORS when Joseph O'Brien's charge won the Martin Pipe over timber at Cheltenham. The winner was expected to make a successful chasing debut at Galway in August but didn't get the stamina test he requires. The stable also run Smoking Gun, four times a winner over hurdles and certain to do better after a couple of runs over fences. Ontheropes was behind Captain Cj at Fairyhouse last month where he made too many mistakes but will have come on for the experience while Eurobot is interesting as he won first time out between the flags and over hurdles.
