Indigo Sky is nominated as the selection, while Ello Lucky, Rockys Girl and Laconicos are others for the shortlist. Laconicos has bits and pieces of form that suggest he is capable of making the frame in this company. Even so, this trip does stretch his stamina and he has a bit to prove. Rockys Girl is consistent at this level and acts well at this track. However, she is a long standing maiden and needs everything to fall into place. Even her long suffering faithful must be having doubts by now. Ello Lucky is versatile and arrives here fit from the Flat. However, her limitations are also evident for all and she is not one to trust implicitly to deliver when asked. Therefore, Indigo Sky gets the vote of confidence, as he has at least shown that he knows how to win a race and it may prove significant that he is being kept on the go whilst he is on such good terms with himself.
