Some of the bigger stables are represented here, and only a tentative vote goes the way of Golden Fury over Aylmer Road, with the market best watched for the newcomers, including Communication and Accomplish. John Dunlop won this 12 months ago with Hasaysis, and if Golden Fury is anywhere near fit, then he can add to the stable's tally. The son of Cadeaux Genereux, a half-brother to the useful Bulaxie, went close on a couple of occasions last term, notably when second to Sir Michael Stoute's Mutajaamel at Sandown in September, and can really be considered unlucky not to have opened his account by now. His experience should help against some interesting newcomers, including Communication who is bred to come into his own over middle-distances. Accomplish is related to plenty of winners, and both of Geoff Wragg's runners, Tayman and Lochranza, could be useful in time. A bigger danger to the selection on this occasion though, may well be Aylmer Road who got bogged down in the heavy ground when fancied at Nottingham last September. Paul Cole's colt got within half-a-length of the odds-on Maidanni on his York debut and should have no trouble losing his maiden tag this term. Today though, Golden Fury may be the one to be on.
