With the benefit of an outing to help, Danjet can see off the likes of Rundear, Ellcon and Halcyon Lodge in this fillies' maiden. Danjet is a half-sister to juvenile winner Malin, and she should have learnt enough from her Lingfield debut to go close today. She was a bit nervous in the paddock prior to her introduction at the Surrey track, but ran well to chase home Phantom Whisper despite not getting the best of passages, and can go one better here. Rundear is a daughter of Danehill dancer who will find this trip on the short side, but she is sure to have been well prepared. Ellcon's dam Carranita was a prolific winner in her time and if she has inherited just a bit of her speed, then Alan Bailey's filly will pay to follow. Halcyon Lodge can be linked to the smart Ramruma on the dam's side and hails from a top yard, so it would be no surprise if she were to turn out useful either, but with fitness assured, we return to Danjet as the answer.
