Verdict

It's all a question of when the handicapper is going the arrest the tremendous development made by ALBERTO'S DREAM since joining the in-form Tom Lacey operation. In hacking up on his last three starts, he now contends off a 27lb higher mark no less than when scoring at Lingfield on the bridle before going on to complete an nine-day three-timer. It's probably best to stay with him until beaten although he's likely to be tested in conceding weight to The Last Bridge, who despite having his quirks, seems to have unearthed a new lease of life with three wins in his last five starts. Flight Commander is now down to a mark which could well make him competitive, has been running solidly this term and certainly merits respect.
