This is a competitive handicap but McQueen is given the vote with Compton Drake and Golano both shortlisted as dangers. The selection did not get home over 2m3f at Newbury last time over hurdles but his recent campaign should mean he is ready to take his chance here and on the pick of his flat turf form he is clearly the one to beat. Compton Drake has been in fair form on the AW and he is stepped up in trip here. However, he has run well when tried over this longer trip in the past and he is capable of making the frame with conditions to suit. Golano is dropped in trip here and as he was doing his best work at the finish last time he is difficult to fancy. Dundry is from a yard in form and is worth noting in the market, but for the winner we return to McQueen.
