Verdict
Some very promising sorts on show here with MIA'S STORM taken to make a winning debut over timber. She ran a solid second behind an arguably top-class rival in Listed bumper company last time and will have no issues with trip or ground having landed a three-mile point-to-point on her sole start between the flags. Buttercup, another coming on here from abandoned Bangor, is an obvious danger on her first start for Venetia Williams as she has some very decent French form to her name. Strong market support would be significant. Surtee Du Berlais is asked to concede the best part of a stone to some potentially very decent sorts and was far from disgraced when third in Listed grade last time at Taunton behind the highly-rated Myska. However, the ground was barely raceable that day and it may not be wise to take the form too literally.
