In depth

Verdict

Lake Chapala is still a maiden but shaped well last time on just a second start for Tim Vaughan. He's capable of winning a race on evidence to date but his yard is rather quiet at present. Harry Cobden's useful claim should enhance the chances of the consistent Irondale Express whilst Guaracha stuck on well to score at Plumpton recently and a follow-up cannot be discounted. OGARITMO, for whom there are slight ground concerns, is the only course and distance winner in the line-up at a venue where course specialists frequently thrive. He's taken to go one better than when last seen in December when running a close second here over this trip.
