Verdict

Bentley's Return has been improving with experience and Globe Player will know more after a recent second here. Check The Score changed hands for £75,000 after winning a maiden point at Kirkistown in February but King William Rufus was only third when favourite at Chepstow following a debut second at Plumpton. Deerstalker was clear when falling at the last in a point last month but a couple of debutants are just as interesting. Strutter, half-brother to a winning hurdler in France, cost €80,000 as a three-year-old and DON MARIONE cost €55,000. Related to the useful Coquelicot, the latter gets a tentative vote. Dorcas Road, half-sister to a winning bumper and hurdler, is also worth a second look.
