Verdict
Aslukwoodhavit sauntered home in a Tramore maiden under Rachael but Henry De Bromhead puts a 5lb claimer on board to reduce his big weight and Rachael rides Gentleman Joe for the yard. Willie Mullins has two entries, Figaroc, fourth in a Fairyhouse handicap after landing a Clonmel maiden, and Feu De Bresil, very lightly-raced for his age and a convincing winner of a Clonmel maiden. Four-year-olds have a good record in this and Gordon Elliott's youngsters Gordons Aura and By Your Side are capable of going well along with another of the younger brigade Cork winner Snapius. Clever Currency is up 9lb for last month's Leopardstown success but Broomfield Bijou doesn't look badly treated after impressing at Ballinrobe. GOLF MARIN began the year with three runs over fences but reverted to hurdles with a comfortable maiden victory at Fairyhouse so gets the nod in a wide-open handicap.
