Division two of the auction maiden and the quality certainly improves. Stuart Williams' Hameildaeme has been found a good opportunity to break her maiden duck on her fourth racecourse appearance. Withdrawn at Hamilton on Friday owing to the soft ground, Hameildaeme tackled seven furlongs for the first time at Brighton last time and saw out the trip well, not being able to overturn the winner but drawing well clear of the third. Her apprentices 5lb claim is added advantage meaning she receives a considerable amount if weight from her rivals, leaving her looking extremely well treated by the race conditions. Blazing Buck was the subject of strong early morning support at Salisbury last time. Doing his best work in the closing stages after being green in the early stages, he can be expected to benefit considerably for that run after two months off the course but faces no easy task conceding exactly a stone to Hameildaeme. Market support for Hughie Morrison's Strathcal would make him of some interest while Eoghan O'Neill's ability to prepare a juvenile is well known and the debutant Canmoss is another worthy of a check in the market. Lady Francesca holds some big race entries over the coming months and she is another to consider but experience can count for much around this venue and Hameildaeme can land it.
